English में कई ऐसे words होते हैं जिनका मतलब लगभग एक जैसा होता है, लेकिन उनके use के नियम अलग होते हैं। In spite of और Despite भी ऐसे ही दो expressions हैं।
दोनों का मतलब होता है – "के बावजूद" या "Even though something happened"।
इनका इस्तेमाल तब किया जाता है जब किसी obstacle, problem, या negative situation के बावजूद कोई action या result हुआ हो।

Despite – Meaning & Usage
Despite का मतलब भी "के बावजूद" होता है, लेकिन इसमें of नहीं लगता।
