जब हम यह बताना चाहते हैं कि कोई काम किस तरीके से,
किस माध्यम से या कैसे किया गया है —
तब English में BY preposition का उपयोग किया जाता है।
यहाँ BY यह दिखाता है कि काम करने का method, means या process क्या था।
यानी काम पैदल हुआ, बस से हुआ, हाथ से किया गया,
या किसी communication माध्यम के ज़रिये किया गया।

जब हम यह बताते हैं कि कोई काम किसी तय समय तक पूरा हो जाना चाहिए,
यानी उसका deadline या last time क्या है —
तब English में BY preposition का उपयोग किया जाता है।
यहाँ BY यह दिखाता है कि काम उस समय से पहले,
उसी समय पर या उस समय तक पूरा हो जाना चाहिए।
